How’s the recession treating you so far? It’s painfully obvious that more and more people are starting to think outside the box these days. Many have found unconventional methods to earn money online. This type of creativity largely applies to writers and internet marketers. As you may already know, I’ve had a long history writing for content farms such as Demand Media and others. Less than a year ago, writing opportunities were pretty strong on the internet. Prominent writers could easily find assignments through content farms and live a relatively “recession-free” lifestyle, depending on their creativity and efforts.
During my days as a content farm lover, I met a wonderful lady struggling financially, just like the rest of us. She’s a typical content farm writer working hard for the money–again, just like the rest of us. We have grown close over time, and i try to get her to try new (successful) opportunities whenever i find something worth our time. Anyway, as Google Panda kicked us all in the ass, she started feeling REAL financial pressures.
Noticing how successful the Kindle platform could be for us, i didn’t waste any time into helping her get on-board. Despite my growing success, she still hesitated to get started. As a result, i published about 3 books during mid-December on her behalf. I understood her reluctance, as she didn’t want to waste her time dealing with “revenue-share” business models when she needed the quick cash content farms can provide. To her surprise, she made roughly $66 dollars during the second half of December. When she noticed her earnings toward the end of the month, she couldn’t believe her eyes.
Needless to say, she is now a believer.
Don’t be afraid to jump into new and exciting platforms; seize the moment as soon as new opportunities present themselves. You do NOT want to miss out on something truly great, which will only make you regret it for the rest of your life.
