Hope everyone’s enjoying a rapid amount of success with their books. Whether you’re publishing self-help titles, fiction, non-fiction or anything else, remember there’s a market for everyone.
I introduced a close friend to the world of ebook publishing in December 2011. As you may have read, she is going through some financial crap (like, REAL financial crap) which made me focus entirely on her for a while. To my surprise, she is now making much more money than I had ever expected. Her Kindle sales are going through the roof, considering she only started this game in December 2011, and now she’s slowly making a killing on the Nook platform as well.
While her Nook sales are much lower than her Kindle’s, she has now pocketed her first $100 on the platform, as compared to the mere $5 she made only a month ago. No secrets are involved here, no magic to speak of. We are simply publishing her existing Kindle books on this wonderful place known as Pubit, by Barnes & Noble.
We can’t wait to see what next month will bring, and the one after that. And to those who are just getting started, I wish you the very BEST of luck. Hell, we still feel pretty damn new in this game, considering we’ve been publishing for less than a year and got truly serious less than 5 months ago.
