A Friend’s Nook Earnings: January 2012
As you are probably aware, I started taking ebooks seriously back in October 2011, and shortly after decided to also publish some books for a friend, therefore working on two accounts simultaneously. Around January 2012, I also started working on my dad’s account, but more on him a bit later (as his book sales are still quite low.)
Anyway, one thing you should never do is to keep your creations in one place. The more you expand, the more you’ll earn, it’s that simple. While sales started off a bit slow, they are now increasing steadily. For now, I’m not sure we will see the same exact success we’ve
already witnessed on the Kindle side, but whatever we can get would definitely be appreciated.
The earnings shown below are based on two recipe ebooks:
I will, without a doubt, keep you guys updated on anything and everything I observe. Over time, I’d like to analyze which ones sell and which ones fail miserably. Then, of course, I’d work on figuring out why they failed and how I can improve future ebooks.
If you have any suggestions and would like to share how you’ve been successful, please let us know!
